13/09/08: Report of a cliff faller at Knap Point. Barry Coastguard were tasked to assist, finding a male who had fallen 15ft, with multiple fractures. Rescue Helicopter 169 airlifted the casualty to hospital.
13/09/08: Report of a object part submerged at Rhoose Point. The objects position was recorded by Barry Coastguard and a notice broadcast to local vessels.
07/09/08: Barry Coastguard were tasked to obtain details of a vessel being escorted into Barry Harbour by Barry Dock Lifeboat. Previously a male had been recovered by Rescue Helicopter 169, who had been knocked off the vessel.
07/09/08: Barry Coastguard were tasked to carry out a search for a missing male, last seen in the Barry Area. Nothing found.
29/08/08: Barry Coastguard were tasked to obtain details of a broken down vessel at Cardiff Bay.
